[Blue-eyed jackal sitting over at the other side of the pool looks... not precisely sympathetic, but kinda like he understands]

[The Fool barely even notices the jackal, which is odd, because his monkey senses should be screaming PREDATOR about now.]

[He tries to clear his throat, and ends up kind of barking instead]
