[Something is wrong. Very wrong.

1) He can't remember having gotten on an airplane.
2) That was a hell of a strange dream. Did it really feature Russia as his father and his brother as his mother? This makes no sense at all.
3) His body feels strange.
4) Why is he flapping his arms? He'll make the plane crash down when he disturbs the balance this much! Okay, let's tuck my wings in to prevent that from happeni-

This wasn't a good idea, Germany. Now he's falling. Really fast.

Luckily, when you're in mortal danger, your brain not only works faster because it doesn't need to follow the protocol; it also manages to accept things that cannot be much better. At least for now.

Thus, the large African Sea Eagle that Germany has somehow become manages to unfold his wings, keep them spread even when the pain from the impact of the air hurts enough to nearly faint from it, and slows his descend down enough to land properly.]
