[Del doesn't seem to have noticed that she is now in charge, and as usual, her clothes and looks have hardly changed. She's kneeling on a high branch in a tree, trying to catch a butterfly. Every time her fingers come near, it flutters a little further away and lands just out of reach, so she has to keep climbing higher.]

Del! [Hurrying over to stand at the bottom of the tree, looking up]

[Freezes, letting the butterfly flutter out from between her fingers.]

Go away.

Del, listen... [Sighs]

I'm really, really sorry.

[crazedingly]

I said GO AWAY!

[didiedingly]

[Not going anywhere. She's just going to settle down at the bottom of the tree with her head in her hands]

[crazedingly]

[For once in her life, Del really, really doesn't want to see Death, or go near her, or talk to her. She just wants to get away.]

[So she climbs higher, no longer laughing, now scowling in grim determination]

[Just going to sit there, then. She's not pushing it]
