[ And this is Rodney -- not exactly hiding, but lurking protectively outside his base and taking notes on the flickering. He's looking for any rate of change, any clue that it's going to stop soon or finally overload. He doesn't want to LEAVE his equipment, but he feels like he should keep an eye on things out here too

Three people have thrown up while I've been looking around, and the rest are reeling around with headaches. Does that tell you anything?

[He is THIS CLOSE to rushing in and activating the override procedure]

It tells me that their reality flickering makes them feel sick. I was expecting that.

[ Glances up and gives you a tired stare. ]

What? Oh, come on, are you really surprised?

I'm not surprised. I just hope this is the worst that happens. The more I feel my old self, the more I fill with dread.

[Slides down to sit on the ground, hugging his knees]

[arrogantedingly]

You think your head might suddenly explode? Somehow, I doubt it.

[ Hesitates, then stops writing and carefully moves towards you. ]

I somehow doubt it but uh, is there anything that would help you feel less sick?

[belovedingly]

You do think on a woefully small scale, Rodney.

[Half-laugh]

I'm fine. Just a headache.

[arrogantedingly]

I've told you already, nothing will blow up! The worst that will happen is -- well, nothing. Probably.

[ Frowns at you awkwardly. RODNEY IS TOTALLY USELESS AT COMFORT THINGS. ]

[belovedingly]

[Tilts his head at Rodney and quirks the corner of his mouth]

The worst that will happen is probably something we haven't thought of yet. But I do have a bad feeling about it.
