Of course, he doesn't yet notice Rodney himself, nor is he entirely aware if Saix is even still following him. Before making any further investigation, he decides to test the latter.]

['Sup again, Rodney, Saïx is back, and this time he brought a rival for Yako's attention friend. Oh, and ignore the weapon Saïx is dragging along. It's just a safety precaution, honest.]

... yes. [His eyes are still flickering and he still feels sick, but he's feeling a little better now that he isn't focused on the fact that, y'know, the very person he used to be keeps changing. Instead, he's focused on what's happening here and now, because it isn't changing -- well. It isn't changing nearly as bad, if that makes any sense at all.]

[Anyway, this is Sacks walking over to you, Rodney.] ... ah... ... [he doesn't really know what to say, so instead he's going to lean against his claymore and let the other two do the talking, k]

[ Looks up from where he's sitting and -- whoa, hi Galbranth. And Saïx. With a large weapon. ]

[ He's glancing at Saix for a clue to whats going on.

[Well, that answers his question-- both questions, actually. Gabranth regards the man carefully, making no move to draw his weapon just yet.]

[He resists the urge to brandish his weapon. This isn't the time, not yet.]

[ Rodney is picking up a less than friendly vibe here... Glances across at Saïx then back at you again. ]

[he listened to all that with his eyes closed, because that headache is really getting insistent, and he's going to talk now without opening his eyes]

... I'm afraid you didn't consider the opinions of those who do not wish to return... [he doesn't sound mad or anything, so it's clear he's not really siding with Gabranth, he's just trying to explain]

[and, well, okay. he's going to open his eyes briefly to make eye contact with Rodney, trying to show that he's here for him -- like. ... oh, he doesn't even know how to say what he means any more without sounding pathetic. he's here to protect you, and nothing's going to happen to you if he has anything to say about it]

[Gabranth is briefly taken aback by Saix's words, wondering if the man had read him so easily. However, he cannot let it distract him; he continues to speak to Rodney, barely even acknowledging Saix's presence.]

[ Hesitates and tries to think of the best way to word this. ]

If this even works, what I am doing will not destroy this world forever. It'll just let me and anyone who wants to escape. If you want to stay you can just -- I don't know, wait to be put back in. And I am sorry if this is better than your home world but you know what? Some of us have friends and family we are worried about and would really like to leave. I promise you -- look explaining it would most likely be a waste of time but the short version is, if this works we wake up from a dream. You can just go back to sleep again while I make my stupid escape attempt.
