Howdy, y’all! I’m Shelby, & I’m slowly making my way back into RP now that I’ve got a lot of extended free time on my hands!

My comfort zone is about 4 good sized lit/semi-lit paragraphs per reply, though I’m working to push that towards novella.

I’m forgetful and sometimes forget about a thread or a response I owe. I’m also a full-time student, work part-time at a coffee shop, and balance a music career with frequent late night and evening performances and rehearsals. Once the world gets back to normal my schedule varies day by day! Please be patient with me is all I ask!

With new partners, I prefer to fade to black. I’m open to plotting what would happen, how our characters would interact, getting right up until the clothes come off, etc., but this isn’t something I often enjoy writing, especially with new partners. Thanks for understanding!

Plots (find a whole bunch of plots I love HERE! These are just a few selected favorites/current cravings…)

A 1x1 where you play your muse at both age 18 and age 30. a picture-perfect summer romance, tearful breakup, and rollercoaster of emotions, regrets. then a time jump with awkward sexual tension, maybe a painful “I still love you”.
Cold war; maybe a Russian spy infiltrating enemy lines as a domesticated family man and an American assassin watching and waiting as the friendly neighbor because the government is suspicious (The Americans, anyone?)
1940s noir; hard-boiled FEMALE detective kicking cocky and degrading men with feminism. and wit. along with her trusty male sidekick who feels uncomfortable sometimes and has to keep apologizing for his partner’s actions and behavior.
Let’s make a town, and just roll with it. Throw characters in as they come along, create a server with different threads and areas of town, people’s lives connecting neat and messy in this cute little town. Limited pre-planning, taking it all one step at a time.
Anastasia-inspired plot! Growing up not knowing who you are, and surprise surprise, maybe you’re really a princess after all?
Time Travel? I don’t know what I want, but I want it. All of it!

I write all kinds of characters and don’t have a gender or ship preference. I’m fine to abide by your rules when it comes to these things!
I have a collection of characters I’ve written forever, who I’ve grown to love! But I also am a huge fan of creating new characters or creating a character to fit a plot.
