Light the Urban Fantasik
Hey, it's Mal (transmale, 29, GMT) again, and this is my several-times annual call for anyone interested in urban fantasy to come play in my setting!
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS TIME AROUND I'M REALLY REALLY CRAVING A HDM DAEMON AU OF THIS WORLD. COME WITH YOUR OWN OCS AND THEIR DAEMONS AND I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER. (And might have to marry you if you check out my character list and come with your own plot ideas and stuff, too! :D )
Here are the loose original notes for my setting as I first sketched them down. Note that this is very much a fantasy kitchen sink setting, so literally anything goes! (I also have an outlines of how vampires and werefolk work in this world, but you can skip over those if you don't intend to play either.)
Here's my extensive, but not by any means finite, character list. I have at least a dozen or more who haven't made it onto that list yet, so feel free to pick my brains for anyone I might have missed. Most of them are queer of some kind, and all of them are (usually) friendly XD
(NOTE: I'm particularly looking to play with any of the Council members, especially Spider and Gebo and Nuut and Shu. I miss them.)
Also note that I ADORE fairy tales and any chance to remix them in this world will be leapt upon. And I am very much of the camp that the rich and strange can be just as human as the mundane, so feel free to pick my brains on that one as well.
I LOVE being asked questions, because sometimes I don't even know the answers myself until asked.
Annnd now for the boring stuff. If you’re ghost-friendly, then you can probs skip this, but honestly for me it’s a little more complicated than that, so! ^^;;;
This is a bit of a long shot, but what I ideally need is someone's who's willing to work at my lopsided and admittedly bizarre pace. Short, intense bursts of RPing/plotting between 1-4 days, followed by weeks or months worth of low contact or even radio silence.
I know that seems like I've ghosted when that happens, but my particular brand of brainweirdness means that even if I appear to vanish, if we really clicked and the RP was going well, then worst case scenario is that I've just run into a wall and can't articulate why or how my spoons have evaporated again.
Also, if I'm allowed to be blunt with you/ if you’re down for con-crit PLEASE PLEASE say as much. I've ghosted before because something bothered me about either a partner or of a character but I worried saying anything would offend. Same goes for you! If we meet online following this ad and I do or say something that makes you uncomfortable PLEASE say as much and why so I can shut the heckie heck up and grow as a person.
I might still vanish. I can't promise I won't. I'm ADHD and sometimes that means that no matter how hard I try my brain won't be dragged back on track - gods how I wish it were otherwise - and just can't be helped.
If you’re cool with that, then you are already among my favourite people. If not, maybe we can still be friends and have a little fun with plotting and rambling at the very least :)
