X-Men_Movie_RPG -- Restarted and Ready to Rock!
It’s been a little over a year since the incident at Alkali Lake. William Stryker’s endeavor to kill every mutant on Earth failed, costing the man his life. The X-Men and the Brotherhood escaped with only a few injuries. The X-Jet lifted off with everyone save Pyro (who had absconded to the Brotherhood) onboard, and the X-Men once again resumed their life at the school - teaching, learning, and forever advocating for mutant equality and human/mutant harmony. The Brotherhood, however, continues to believe that they are superior to humans, and continue to work against the measures that humans take against mutants with violence and infiltration.
However, there’s something awry. Every now and then, one hears of a black market for mutant DNA. The pay is expensive for those willing to give a vial of their blood or a cell culture from their cheek every now and then to mysterious men in black suits.
The school year is about to begin again at the Institute, with students new and old returning. The Brotherhood operates from a base in New York City, an enchanting circus with superb feats is finishing its summer season, and there are even rumors of subterranean mutants dwelling in the sewers of New York City. Apart from all of this, other mutants just try to live their lives undiscovered amongst the humans.
X-Men_Movie_RPG is a movie-verse X-Men RPG based on Yahoo! Groups. We already have a core group of players and several canons that are taken. Focus will be placed specifically on OCs and a new generation of mutants, as well as OC adults that might be trying to cope with their mutation and find their own place in the world. Canons are, of course, welcome just like OCs! Become a mutant and join with the X-Men, The Brotherhood, or any of the other factions. Each group has their own goals, and each is determined to see their goals are met. So join, become a mutant, and enter the X-Men_Movie_RPG.
