Because sometimes it's not just a muse, it's a muse from a fanfiction. Whether you wrote it or just love it, bring the characters from your favorite fics and set them loose. Do they have an issue with what you wrote, tired of just sitting there while you've got writers block? Give them something to do other than sitting on their hands or dangling over that cliff.
