Dear Sir or Madam,
You've been selected from a large group of lost souls, such as yourself, for the opportunity to move into something better. We would like to invite you to our village. Alderbourn is opening its waterways to you. Here in Alderbourn, villagers are given a chance to start a new life, to live peacefully, without strife, war, greed. If you accept, you will be offered your own cottage, and a place in our village.
We ask only two things of you. First, that you live by our rules: you will not harm another resident, and you will not bring any modern technology with you. Second, if you have been gifted with supernatural abilities, you will allow our mages to halve them. As we would not leave you completely defenseless, you are allowed to bring a weapon - but you must only use it in emergencies, or it will be confiscated.
Alderbourn has been carefully guarded so that it will stay the peaceful escape it has been for the last century. Please consider our invitation and reply swiftly.
Alderbourn is an experimental Utopian panfandom roleplay.
