InformationNavigationYou want to run away from something. Or is running away. Or want to escape. What ever the cause is. You get that wish. The wish of running away. The wish of escaping. The wish for excitement. And what not.
You are just minding you own business. (Or escaping/running away. Depends on where your journey takes you.) You keep on going on and on. And somehow went through a very strange alleyway (or cave or void. No matter.) And you ended up in a very strange city at night.
Not knowing where you are you keep wondering around or panicking. Until you are kidnapped by suspicious men in black. You were being studied on, experimented on. When you came to be, you see that you are at home, in front of a desk at school, or in a hospital room, but no worries, your expenses are paid for. Or, maybe on a bench in the park. But there's only one thing. You lost something important. (Like powers or something of the sort.) But you gained something new. Next to you, is a PDA or cell phone and a laptop or a computer. You are given instructions on how to use them.
A man approaches you. And you are given information about this city. Not much is given about it, just basic facts. As the minutes you're here are ticking... You hear things about this city. A man who possesses superhuman strength. Color gangs. The black bike. The slasher. And some unfortunate things. The city that's always changing whether or not anyone notices. As you keep looking around, more things unveil within the darkness. Sometimes it feels like the city sucks you in...
Welcome to Ikebukuro.
Your characters are in a place called Ikebukuro. For those who don't know, it's a city in Tokyo District, Japan. Hence the name, Ikebukuro is a very mysterious city. They can choose to pursue a normal life here or strive for an "abnormal" life. They have no idea how you got here or even remember being here. But they notice that they have been stripped of their powers and/or weapons. Their job is to try to look for it but, of course, they would stumble upon things. Much like the Durarara!!itself.
Housing here isn't a huge problem. They come here with an apartment and some pocket change to use. Depending on the age of your character, they have to go to school. Adults, they can choose to have a job. Though their lives are very secret and no one would know what they really do.
Everyone has heard of the Dollars or Yellow Scarves. In fact, your character will get an eerie message asking if they would like to join Dollars. In terms of joining the Yellow Scarves, it just happens somehow.
We will have events from time to time. As well as chatroom simulation posts. The city will definitely change. Even though it's set in Ikebukuro, Shinjuku is the next place they can go to. Of course for information. From who? Izaya.
Oh, almost forgot. There's no way out. They can try to escape to find that they somehow came back to where they started. Newbies are welcome~
