One year
This morning, I was looking through some of the old entries I had written, all the way to when I arrived in Memento Eden. So imagine my shock when I saw that my first entry had been dated a year from yesterday!
It's strange. In some ways, it feels as if I've been here nearly all my life. Perhaps that's a side effect of coming here with no memories in the first place. But at the same time, I'm astounded at how a whole year could have passed so quickly for me. So many people have come and gone in that time frame, including several of my friends. I've remembered much, but still have much, much more I have yet to recall. I have the feeling that I will be here for some time to come...but I can persevere. As awful as this place can sometimes be. I've lasted an entire year -- I'll last until I remember everything there is for me to remember.
