So, 75 weeks since I last posted anything here. I had an accident in November 2007; switched jobs in June of 2008, and became unemployed the same day the Obama Presidency began, January 20, 2009. Yeah, Warren. That's where I saw him. He's just too Joss-Cute to be real. The whole show just doesn't connect with me emotionally. It happens with Whedon: as much as I loved 'Serenity' (I have it permanently on TIVO) I felt that most of the high note scenes played flat, missed the mark ('Little Albatross' at the end worked though. Mal as the father River needed) The only bright thing on the show is Tamoh. I saw the 'Frakkin BSG Special' and they were talking about how all the cast and crew are family and how they root for each other, and when Tamoh said it, I saw Dollhouse as the subtext. You're talking to Eddie Olmos and you find out that Joss Whedon wants you for a new series. What Dollhouse needs is a little Tricia Helfer. I guarantee, if Tricia shows up I'll pay attention!
