So, you're in the middle of a brawl and it's time to use your ultimate ability!
Name of Ability: This can be anything
Ability Type: Pick one of the following
- This is a straight forward full contact blow, whether using part of your body such as a fist or a weapon like a sword or bow. This type of ultimate generally deals straight damage to one or more targets in an attempt to KO them quickly.
Physical attacks can have one of the following secondary effects:
[Knockback] - Pushes the target slightly in the opposite direction they were hit from.
[Stunned] - Target is unable to react for a few seconds after the blow.
[Muddled] - Target is dazed from the blow, slowing their attack and move speed.
- This type of ability involves grabbing the enemy in some fashion and tossing them somewhere else. A 'throw' can be any ability that pushes a target a moderate distance away.
- Through the use of magic these abilities deal damage to a target from a distance. Weapons can also deal magical attacks.
Magic attacks can have one of the following secondary effects:
[Burnout] - Whether by being encased in flames or shocked by lightning the target spends a few seconds unable to do anything but defend from being overwhelmed.
[Residual Damage] - The target has been hurt badly enough that he or she continues to take minor damage for several seconds after being hit.
- This ability type works by either strengthening yourself or weakening your enemy. This is usually done by either boosting one of your stats or lowering an enemies.
Stats are:
[Strength] - How hard you hit with physical attacks.
[Speed] - How fast you can dole out damage as well as how quickly you recover from a blow.
[Defense] - How well you can resist damage. This includes blocking or dodging an attack.
[Spirit] - This determines how strong your magical attacks are.
[Endurance] - This determines how many hits you can take before being KOed.
- This type of ability makes you harder, if not impossible, for enemy targets to hit for a few seconds. FYI, healing is also defensive.
What the Ability Does: Here you would give a brief description of what actually happens.
Catchphrase: What your character says before, during, or after using their ultimate ability. You can include more than one.
Drawback: That's right...there's a penalty for using so much epic power. It doesn't have to be something crippling but you should at least think up something that makes using the move risky, such as being unable to defend for a few seconds after.
What it Looks Like: Every fancy finishing move needs a cool flashy sequence or a suitably grimdark aura effect. What's yours look like? Remember to keep it moderately short and simple.
