Writer's Block: Celebrating Friendships
Over the past ten years, many friendships have started and/or been renewed on LiveJournal. Of your current LJ friends, who have you known the longest?
My oldest friend on my flist (but who's never on LJ really) is maybeitis (maybe it is not maybe-itis lol) whom I met in the eleventh grade at an after-school math and physics tutoring class. Despite the fact that he was the most reticent guy in the class, we soon bonded over our mutual love for Alias and, subsequently, everything else. I would totally marry him *right now* if he were of the banging-chicks persuasion.
However, tigersroar and jamie55 were the first to comment on my journal and I have much love for thems, yes =)
Some of my other early friends were katayla and secondmezzanine whose writing I adored and were nice enough to add me back hehe! Then there was
da_phoenix13 with her kickass robot theory, who friended me back after I squeed about her journal header being Coldplay lyrics in a PM lol.
My love affair with idioticonion started with her epic fic series "Gone" which was so amazing I had to beta it, and despite the fact that she didn't friend me back till ages later (hehe), I think we were already pretty much Bros by then.
But really, all of you are so damn amazing, and I'm SO grateful to be able to connect and share thoughts with people I otherwise would never have known. I also love how himym_roleplay , him_tbbt_100 and the Round Barney-Robin Drabble Chain has brought me a whole bunch of awesome new friends, even if we're not technically on each others' flists...
