Being a parent, sometimes, is hard and add on top of that being a spouse. People without child rearing experience who give condescending advice to parents, no, it has not happened to me recently, should be viewed and I am sure are viewed by some of us who do have child rering experience, as functionally handicapped. If you don't have children please be very, very careful about your advice and observations. Things usually are the way they are for, sometimes, very good reasons.
