professor alba, u sly fox

So I finally finished Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. Lol, I must say, the story is well-done and the script is pretty good. Kudos to the translators too, of course. XSeed really done the old-school/niche RPG fans a big favor by localizing this game. Trails is the first chapter or part one of the trilogy. The second chapter's preview movie at the end really got me hyped up for the sequel (which is already out in Japan for a while now).

Most of the questions were answered at the end of the game except for a select few. But Prof. Alba really got me there. I think I can count the number of people with kind and smiling faces but are actually villians in disguise. And poor Estelle. I'm pretty meh about her and Joshua since their feelings for one another is so obvious that everyone in the game knows about it. I also get why Joshua did what he did, since he prolly felt like dirt after knowing the truth from our Mr. Mastermind. Also, a mysterious secret organization's name was mentioned!

RPGs need moar villians like him. Someone whom is discreet, capable and evil (though I don't know what he's scheming yet). Oh, the main theme song is cool, too. It fits the ending perfectly.

Haha, Aichi won the fight. Thanks to the two new cards he put in his deck, Gordon and Gigantic Charger.

Kai won his fight pretty easily too from the looks of it (well, they skipped straight to the climax). His Dragonic Overlord pawned all of them with ease and set AIchi in awe. The latter seemed eager to cheer and congratulate him.

Miwa: "Besides, can you imagine Kai smiling with delight?"

Lololol, I can only picture him laughing cruelly at others. Fanarts doesn't count. Maybe, just maybe, he'll really genuinely smile again like he did in episode 2's flashback again for Aichi.

I don't think I see the Milky Holmes in this episode. Maybe their screentime as cameos are over? Kamui's up next in the next episode. Haha, from the preview, I spy more Kamui/Emi moments.
