It's that time of year again. Well, it's been a year after HG/SS's release and in a few days's time, Black/White will hit the streets soon (unless you're a pirate, then there's the leaked EU version out there already). Since I already spoiled myself long before the announcement of the official english release date, I kinda knew what to expect. Which is why I'm pumped for this new Gen V. The english version new region's name is weird, though. Unova. I've forgotten the meaning behind it. When I get my hands on them boxes, I might not be able to let my DS rest until I'm... idk, bored? I'd accumulated roughly 100 hours+ in HG, and a total of 300+ hours on D/P/Pt combined, lol.
Also, this is probably old but apparently Cardfight!! Vanguard isn't as popular as I thought it would be outside Japan. Lol, maybe it was because of the title? I marathon-ed (they're interesting enough to make me want to continue) through episode one to seven yesterday and wow, I can't believe I actuallly liked and enjoyed them way more than any other anime this season. For example, I would definitely watch an episode of Cardfight!! than one episode of Star Driver. The fights in SD are getting really boring and predictable, the protagonists always wins in one-hit flashy attack, characters trying to say cryptic and downright nonsensical lines just to look cool, and two other main characters has h@xX0r powers that can end any fights with their powers if they wanted to.
:P Something about Cardfight!! Vanguard just appealed to me more. Maybe because I'm once a hardcore TCG player/collector? Nah, that can't be it. For one, even if I liked the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG/videogames, the GX and 5D's anime just doesn't click with me. Haha, I already shipped Kai/Aichi so hard thanks to the anime and Pixiv. I'm probably one of the few who actually likes this series. Still, I hope they do well enough to get a game adaption like the Yu-Gi-Oh Tag Force series on the psp.
Once I get my own B/W, I most likely won't be updating the journal or active on certain forums. Plus, RO has my soul captive atm.
