tegami bachi gakuen specials
According to the list of episodes page on wikipedia, "Letter Bee Academy (テガミバチ学園, Tegami Bachi Gakuen, lit. "Tegami Bachi Academy"), is a three minute omake series which focuses on the background settings of the world of Amberground not touched upon or elaborated much in the anime, and provides a hilarious class setting with chibi versions of the characters."
The specials were included in the dvd release of the first season of Letter Bee. I guess it's not popular enough outside Japan since all the first season's dvdaa has been released about half a year ago and we're only aeeing the subs now unlike Angel beats!. Ruri fansubs released the first three specials so far and hopefully more will be coming. Three subbed and 22 more left to go!
If you have read the manga or paid attention to the anime, you probably wouldn't need to know about stuff or terms like spirit ambers or Gaichuu. The omakes are still good for laughs and moe chibi-fied characters. Of course, since there's chibi Lag and Zazie in it, my day is made~

Wonder what's up with Gauche, he seems kinda serious and depressed on some parts but still pretty funny overall. Most of the screenshots were taken from the first special, the third last from the second, and the last two from the third. Hnngh, nowI can't wait for the rest of the specials(22 more?).
New year's eve's tomorrow(lol, is the consecutive use of apostrophe correct here?). Bet there will be plenty of fireworks during the countdown like last year, hehe.
