i've successfully gone to the last 2 shows that i purchased tickets to- i'm turning over a new leaf here.
as for show #1 of that streak, dredg in madison was great. they played 2 new songs, which i will need to hear a couple more times before deciding what i think. hopefully the new album comes out soon.
show #2 was misery signals at metro on thursday, which would have been great, except they dropped off the bill cause the singer had bronchitis or something. that was the biggest disappointment of 2008 aside from the cubs getting swept by LA
the next show i have a ticket to is jimmy eat world at metro in february. it's the 10 year clarity anniversary tour, and i paid a fairly good amount for my ticket, so i'm confident i won't skip that one. time will tell...
on another note, i hate winter and it's not even winter yet
