Ever since I was little I can remember wanting to make a difference. I wanted to somehow make the world better to live in. I still want to do this, but on a smaller scale, it will be just as difficult, but smaller. You see, I honestly see the children as the future. I am not being cheesy. If children are not properly educated, then society would plummit. Hitler and Stalin both knew that the most effective way for change was to belittle the elders and influence the children. They had a point, a very twisted point, but a point none-the-less. My plan is to change the world by changing the education system. That's why I want to be a teacher. I want to give the children of the United States a better education, the kind of education they deserve. I know that this will take a lot of work, but I know that I have what it takes to help bring change about. I don't know how I know, perhaps it's God, maybe it's a big ego, or just some indigestion. I would like to think it is guidance from the big man upstairs. I don't know enough about the public school system right now, since I only attended one year of public school, but I want to learn more about it, and I will, since I am going to school to be an elementary teacher. I know enough about the system to tell that it is flawed and needs some changes. I know that no one will probably read this, but that's okay, this entry is kinda for me to get all of this off my chest.
