I'M SEVENTEEN O.O Which meant watching Repo! The Genetic Opera last night. Talk about a blast from...um, last summer? Haven't really watched it in a while unfortunately, which sucks because it is made of BLOOD, DRUGS, REVENGE, AND AWESOME! I love that movie. It's a bloody musical set in a future dystopia with a company practically owning people. It's like they made this movie going: "Hmm, how can we include all of Harper's favorite things?"
:D
ANYWAY! Birthday! Huh. It's weird. Like, I don't know why. This whole growing up thing has been tweaking me lately. But, it was a nice birthday all over. We had a game up in WG, and I got to play for almost a whole quarter! And I got an interception and a rebound! I don't know, in my world, these are exciting things. Then Tiff came over and we all had cake and she and I watched Repo!
My parents and sister are also amazingly wonderful people who got me the best presents ever! My favorite presents will always be those things you kind of need, and will use daily, so what I got was perfect. Emma got me a Starbucks giftcard (YAY COFFEE O.O), and the rentals got me a really really nice iPod dock to replace the half dead one that froze my iPod a couple times. No guys, you have no idea, this is SO NICE, and I'm really in awe.
But, oh yeah. There was this one other little thing. You know, just something small, no big deal really. Just a couple of tickets to see MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!! (I may have screamed and jumped around a little. My mum has a video, I may share.) There show down near Philly in April. Two tickets. My Mom had to buy them off a scalper on ebay. I'm so fricking excited, I can't even explain. Also, for the first time, I'm trusted to go, just me and a friend. That's kind of huge for me.
Ack, I can't believe it. It was kind of an awesome birthday :D
