Breaking Away (1979))
It's funny how the trick to get me biking in to work is to just write "bike" on the calendar and lay out my bike gear the night before. If I can get the motivation to do that, the rest is easy.
And thanks to the guy that tried to pass me in Woodinville. As we were leaving the park, he started gaining on me. You're supposed to slow down through the park, which I did, but he didn't. As we got past the park and I was starting to pick up speed, he looked like he wanted to pass, so I pushed it a bit. If it weren't for him, I probably would have stayed at 14 or 15mph for the rest of the ride. Instead, I kept it up between 18-20mph for the rest of the ride. When I finally lost him a few miles down the road, I dropped down to a much more leisurely 14-15.
