Author's Notes: Could be better but it’s either post this or post nothing at all; either way I love this month!

-Oh good, you’re awake! Try not to move too much Sherlock, you’ve got a concussion and some bruises…
-What happened? Wha…is my eye swollen?
-...And a black eye. Umm…what do you remember?
-I accepted to come with you to the pub…
-You pestered me until I said yes.
-…with your fanatical rugby friends because a suspect was going to be there…and I …I insulted someone, didn’t I? And did you get hit too?
-Yes, Sherlock. You made some unfortunate comments; because of course you have no control over your mouth and no visit to a pub is complete without a fight, apparently! The other team, who were losing by the way, got angry, we had to intervene and tried to calm things down but you wouldn’t shut up, beer, chips and insults started to fly and a well...
-And someone punch me and I passed out? How embarrassing.
-No, not quite. You were doing fairly well but umm… you positioned yourself behind me and I didn’t see you there.
-So the swollen eye is your fault? What, do you always throw wild punches? Can't you control your limbs? This is ridiculous John!
-Hey! It wasn’t my fault! I prepared to punch the git who dared to insult your fluffy hair and you put yourself in the path of my elbow! Apparently you were quite close to the wall because when I turned around you were unconscious. Later I slipped on a mouth guard, which was disgusting and I have no idea how it got there, and fell on my arse, so don't feel bad, we were all embarrased. But fear not! I collected the skull cap you wanted!
-The least you could do, having left me half blind!
-Well, look at the bright side! If you need to do more undercover work that black eye will be most believable touch!
