Megan and I have been dating for 5 years.
5 years ago, just after September 11th, a trip that had been planned for some time fell thru, due to obvious airline concerns. Megan, along with a bunch of other Chicagoans, had been planning to come out to Mid-A for Nonclave.
My now wife got her refunded money for plane tickets and used it (and with the help of friends) rented a car and drove her ass to see me. This is typical of the level of devotion that she's shown to me since, and hopefully, I have to her.
She is my wife, my lover, my best friend, and my partner. I love her more than words can wield the matter. 5 years after it all started, the thing in this world I need the most, more than anything, is her.
