I haven't deactivated the account, but my plan is to avoid it unless they return the option for the chronological feed. I am fiending for faceless digital interaction, but so far sticking to Diaspora, LJ and Twitter. Jesus, just stick an IV in already, yeah? Meh.

There's a workaround for the chronological feed - it's a little clunky, but lists show in chron order. Make a list with everyone you want to read on it (if you've got a lot of people/pages you read, it's annoying because you have to click on each one to add them) and it's almost as good as having Most Recent back.

My objection was the part where f'locked things were showing up in non-friended people's tickers. Sure, I only posted things I was ok with my mom seeing, but...

It is possible to completely delete your facebook account. They just make it incredibly hard. Want me to dig up the how.to?
