Day of Rememberance
Yes, it's 9/11 again. Condolences to those who lost someone 'way back when, and happy birthday to aerinha's 3-year-old Emma Rose. :)
Yesterday afternoon we went to see The Brothers Grimm with Minikin and Flar. It was a cute movie, and it was fun to see how they worked other fairy tales into the storyline. Afterwards we went out to dinner at Giuseppe's, which probably wasn't as good an idea as far as my legs were concerned. Although I was able to keep my legs up on the railing in the theater, I wasn't able to at the restaurant and by then I wasn't feeling too well, so I boxed my dinner up (I'd gotten full on one small piece of appetizer and a cup of clam chowder anyway) and we paid and came back to the house, where I got into my comfy jammies and sat in the recliner. Knight, Minikin, Flar, and I watched Wonderfalls (Flar only stayed for one episode) for a while, then when I started falling asleep I went up to bed around 11:30pm.
I took a Percoset before laying down, since I was achy, and slept until almost 11:30 this morning. Whee!
I made Knight and myself some brunch (bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches), got caught up on LJ, played two games of Scrabble (lost one and won one), and here I am updating my own LJ for your edification.
So far, of the 13 auctions that I have up on eBay, I've got bids on 7 items. The skirt only has one more day left and the doll stuff has 3 more days left, so I'm not too worried about any of it. No bids on the skirt as yet, but I do have a few watchers. We'll see if it sells or not. :)
