It's Easter, Peeps!
So on Saturday afternoon I did four main things:
1) Ran two loads of laundry, folded the clothes, and got most of it put away.
2) Went to the store to pick up some sundries (sodas, TP, etc).
3) Cashed in the change from my elephant bank - there were more pennies than I'd thought inside, but I still got almost $29 out of the deal, which will be popped onto my Starbucks card.
4) Baked a batch of Pillsbury's Bunny Butt Cookies
Mine don't look quite as good as their's do, but then again I'm not a professional. Also, as I was following the recipe on my iPhone (rather than a computer screen) it was hard to tell what sort of candies they used on the bunny feet. I posted a photo of my cookies to my Facebook, so if you've got me friended over there you can see the result. Not spot on, but not a cause for Cake Wreck (or cookie wreck) either.
Later today I will make a corn pudding to take over to minikin's place for a family dinner. There will also be ham, deviled eggs, scalloped potatoes, sweet potato casserole, broccoli with cheese sauce, salad, and a Bunny Cake in addition to what I'm bringing. Yum!
I also got three Easter baskets put together for the Spousal Unit and our housemates. Mmm... chocolate.
