Thing the First:
The Week 11 poll for therealljidol is located HERE and if you enjoyed my entries this week, I would REALLY appreciate a vote.
We are down to the Top 20 contestants, and we each had to write two entries on a variety of possible topics. Here are mine:
In The Dragon's Eye which is listed in the poll next to my username as "entry 1", and Paper Roses, which is listed in the poll under my username as "entry 2".
Votes for both entries will be totalled together to see who is going home this week - SIX will be leaving! The poll will be open until tonight at 9:00 pm EDT. The polls close in 5.5 hours, so if you haven't supported your favorites yet (and I hope I'm one of them), what are you waiting for?
Thing the Second:
Had a pleasant weekend for the most part. Nothing super-special, but I did some laundry, ate yummy semi-homemade pizza (top-your-own premade crust) with friends, watched two episodes of Game of Thrones, although I'm still 3 episodes behind on finishing this season.
Hubby took my car in to the repair shop this morning to get my A/C recharged, as it hasn't been working well again. Mechanic Dude, along with recharging the A/C, also used a green dye so that he can find out where the leak is and get it fixed properly. We need to bring the car back in two weeks and by then we should see what's what. At least now I can get my car cooled down, rather than sitting in a semi-warm car, bleh.
I made a pot of vegetable beef soup this weekend, and we will be having some soup and sandwiches (or other leftovers) for supper tonight. Not much else going on. Ciao!
