Quick Update...
Yesterday was long and busy! Hubby and I and disheveledhair and Starmaiden and minikin and Flar and Tigger all went up to the Cincinnati, OH area for the day. We left home a little later than expected, around 12:30 or so, after having to put some air into my car's tires. We drove up to Ohio and had a late lunch at Choo Choo's Restaurant, which is in an old train station building. The building is sort of unprepossessing on the outside, but is filled with train memorabilia and even a toy train that runs along the top of the walls on the inside. The food was mostly the soup-and-sandwich-and-burger variety, but it was good.
After lunch, we travelled to Jungle Jim's, a huge international market. We spent about 90 minutes there, shopping and browsing the aisles. Afterwards, we went to a nearby IMAX theater and saw "Mars Needs Moms" in IMAX-3D. I daresay it was better than I'd expected it to be!
Oh, and the other night we went out to see Paul, and OMG it was hilarious, and filled with tons of homage to other Sci-Fi movies! GO SEE IT!
But I digress - after the movie, we had a very late dinner (it was 9pm when we got to the restaurant, and we had to wait about 40 minutes for a table) at Buca di Beppo. By the time we got back home, it was well past midnight, and I still hadn't finished packing yet!
By the time I finished, it was about 2:00 AM, and I spent a little time unwinding and playing around on Facebook before finally falling asleep around 3:00 am. Fortunately, I was able to sleep until about 9:30 since my flight out isn't until 12:20 this afternoon.
Oh, and I made it through this round of therealljidol, and am now officially in the Top 75. Yay!
Abyway, I'm packed, and doing a quick update, and getting ready to leave for the airport in about 10 minutes. Fitness Ranch, here I come!!
