the knowing that people i love are going to die, while still beign apathetic. i'll mourn when it happens.

there's so much you can do to poison your own ego. the ego is stupid, i hate my ego it's rediculous, so it gets poison, EAT YOUR DELICIOUS POISON!
stop myself from thinking i'll solve anything - "no, bad ego! *smack*"
i care. but i think trying to avoid pain is just vanity, it's ego, a stupid dream. you can't avoid pain without living in a dreamworld. we all live in dreamworlds, but at least some of us are honest about it - we don't lie to others telling them that WE are immune and superior, coz that's just your ego lying.
fear is the root of all evil. the only way to disarm your fears is to integrate them, embrace them.
embrace... the thought of your loved ones dying.

just don't let your ego lie to people, don't let it say that you are immune to pain, dont let it say that it will never happen. Never let your ego talk in absolutes, there are no absolutes, it's your ego lying. They will all die, and you will be in a lot of pain, and then something else will happen in your mortal coil. You'll scar-over with various flavours until you settle on whichever one works the best. BUT THE BLACK CIRCLE CONTINUES TO SPIN, REALITY IS UNCARING... your pain is irrelevant, it's all irrelevant
embrace reality, embrace pain. to be aware is to be insane, man cannot be both stable and aware. So choose your alternate: laugh like the Fool, split like the Twins, hate like the Commonman, blahblahblahetc. which archetype will you choose? their purpose is to provide predictability to your life. so take one, follow it, let it be your guide, your mentor in life - follow it's rules, it's cause-effects, be predictable, be stable.
and occasionally emerge from it - into awareness, writhe in awareness's painful scorching rays that our skin cannot metabolise - the madness inducing light from the black hole sun.

the only way you can see the answer is by burning your own eyesockets out. the answer destorys the prior existance of the question, it's a system of irony, the ouroboros snake. so, doesn't solving the riddle create a paradox that destorys all existance? lol, stupid human... as if you could possibly have any influence on reality, lol @ self important ego.
