What does the rest of 4TOPS do now?
When I saw the interviews of Ikuta Toma, people always asked him how he felt to be the only one Johnny, wo didn´t debut, but only concentrated in acting. At those times I always told myself:" but he is not the only Johnny, who didn´t debut and only acted in dramas and stageplays." It´s true that the others are not successful like Toma, but still...! Out of curiosity I search about the Johnnys in Toma´s generation, who only concentrate in acting, to see what they do now. Why I write about them now? Du you recognize the two marked? They are Kazama Shunsuke (left) and Hasegawa Jun (right). I got to know them through Shounen Club and Hadaka no Shounen. I´m glad they didn´t quit JE. They are still there but I don´t see them singing or dancing anywhere. They appeared seldom on idol magazines. Do you Johnny´s lovers remember 4TOPS? It´s a Johnny Jrs´s group consisted of Yamashita Tomohisa, Ikuta Toma, Kazama Shunsuke and Hasegawa Jun. You can find their trivias over www.crunchyroll.com/group/4TOPS. At that time everyone believed that 4TOPS will debuted but no one can predict what will happen in the future and especially what Johnny-san thinks, so I can imagine that all of them and fans were pretty shocked when they heard about Yamapi´s debut with NEWS in 2003. After that 4TOPS was disbanded. I don´t know when they exactly left Shounen Club and stopped dancing and singing.
Anyway, their last projects that I know was the stageplay "Romeo and Julia" (2009) for HaseJun and the drama ""LADY ~Saigo no Hanzai Profile" (2011) for Kazapon. Kazapon was in "Konkatsu" (2009) too, the drama with Nakai Masahiro of SMAP as lead actor. I hope I will see more of them in the future!
