the curse of karl malone lives on. i kinda feel bad for the guy after this year even though he's the dirtiest player on earth next to john stockton (and rodman but he's dirty in a different sense)
Defense beats LA. i've said it all along and now its proven. yea i didnt think the east had a chance but wow Detriot has some kinda defense. the rockets were an overtime of defense away from scaring the lakers; the spurs were 0.4 seconds of defense away of sending them home (Minnesota didnt really have a chance); and detroit gave them too much D. not to mention...the dodgers get shut down quite a bit as well.
i hated karl malone but after seeing him cry ab his mom and all that kinda stuff i feel bad but barkley never got one so i guess he has to earn it. i wonder what the lakers will look like next year
i didnt hear teh commentators even give tayshaun a thought about being mvp but i thought he did an AMAZING job on kobe as hit some huge 3's and had great rebounds as well. i guess offense gets u recognized towards an mvp. billups was amazing as well though. he really played horribly the rest of the playoffs and showed up in teh finals
i hope the rest of the league enjoyed playing basketball in teh pre-rockets dynastry era :P
