Torchwood: CoE
Firstly, I loved it... ALL of it, it was a fantastic story and done really well!
Secondly, holy cow there are a lot of people out there that need A LOT of professional help and STAT
I understand that people are upset of the death of Ianto but for heaven's sake he's a fictional character on a show that is no way grounded in reality! I'm rather concerned for a good portion of the fandom after some the reaction posts I've seen... Jesus!
You could tell that he was a goner as soon as he made the remark about growing old and dying or whatever he said! RTD is a HUGE fan of foreshadowing so I'm not sure why people were surprised?! and wasn't there something back when they started filming that one of the male characters was going to die?
I'm really wondering if they are actually interested in doing a Season 4 or if that was a ploy to throw everyone of course? Cos if they do that would be great (as long as they don't 'reset') but if they don't thats ok too. Don't get me wrong I LOVE Torchwood and would of course love to see more of it but they've ended it in a good way. Not like some other shows *cough*Firefly*cough*
But mostly the biggest outcome of this is me getting pissed off with the fandom.... Days 1-3 had the fandom praising everything... Gwen haters even conceeded that shes not actually all that bad! Then from Day 4 onwards they hate everything, RTD is a bastard and Gwen is back to being hated on. Seriously people...
