AMBY!!!
Amber came over this weekend!!! Yay! She came because her grandma just had knee surgery and she is now recovering. She came on Thursday night and she spent the night over. We didn't do much except chill on Friday night. I asked my mom if I could skip the day and she allowed it, so I didn't go to school on Friday, even though I had a biology test, a french project to turn in (that I didn't do), and I had borrowed two books and I was supposed to return them. OH WELL! I woke up that day at like 10 and we got ready for breakfast. Her parents took us to Casa Lario's to eat something. I always get the same thing at these cuban places. Cafe cubano con pan tostada. I don't know why I never get something different. We went to visit Gloria after that. That's Amber's grandma who is practically my grandmother. *Lol* She is like terrified that he will never walk again; she will she's just paranoid. I'm trying ot remember what we did after that. I know we were there for a while, but we did something. We went to dinner at Bangkok Bangkok and then we just rented a movie since it was raining so much. We watched "House of Wax" since she never saw it. I think it's a gay movie. Don't watch it. Oh in the afternoon me and Amber went to Wendy's to get lunch and we saw someone in my school there, that I knew, and the first thing I thought when I saw her was, "What a loser wearing the school uniform on a weekend." And then when I went to say hi to her and I asked her why she was wearing it, she reminded me that it was Friday. I was like wow I'm an idiot. Man I felt bad for thinking that about her. The rest of the day was jsut hang. We went to bed at like 2 but that's it.
On Saturday I woke up early because I had piano class. I had to memorize a piece that morning. "Musette" by Mozart. I did it, but i had to rush. I ate an egg sandwich for breakfast and Amber didn't eat anything... as usual. I had an hour a piano, and hour of violin and an hour of theory. I had to do a fake exam for theory to practice for the real one, and I think I did really bad. We have to turn in our packets of work, but I forget to do it. I was just sitting there reading the magazine, and I somehow didn't get caught. Yay! I got out of there and I went to eat. Amber just had to eat at Lario's again, so we caved in. I had a burger though. *Lol* She had a bistec palomilla and her mom had a baby fillet. For dessert, omg you guys have to eat this one day, I had Quatros Leches. I love that stuff. It is so hard to find. I was surprised when I saw it on the menu and I just had to have one. So good. We went to go visit Gloria again that day. We stayed with her for a long time. Her nephew and his wife and children visited her at that time too. The boys were really noisy so we decided to go to the nursery to see the baby's. We new we had to take elevator B to get there, but we didn't know what floor. We ended up going through all 6 floors to find it. I was on the 5th floor, but they had already out the blinds down so as to not disturb the babies and their sleep. We left after that and went to Merrick. We first went to VS to go buy Amber some underwear. I ended up buying some lipgloss. I got a cute little toy dog too. Since Amber buys everything from the "Pink" collection, you get a free toy dog with your purchase. But since she already has 3 she gave it to me. It's cutie. Then I bought a shirt at Neiman Marcus, since her mom went there to buy perfume. I wore the shirt on Sunday. She didn't sleep over that day because she was leaving early in the morning, and they were going to spend the night at Millie's mom's house that's one the outskirts of Miami.
You know there is an olympic sport called Curdling or Curling, one of those two. It is the gayest thing of life. I don't see how that is an olympic sort. You like very slowly throw this huge puck and then there are people in front of the puck shaving the ice to slow it down, and you have to make in the middle of the bullseye. It's so stupid. Amber was like, "This is a sport, but cheerleading isn't?" I always feel ditzy around her.
I hate Amber and Pilar and Yasmin for getting this song stuck in my head.
