Busy Weekend

I had such a busy weekend this past week. On Friday night I had a sleepover with 10 girls from my new school. It was Lizzy's birthday. My mom didn't let me sleepover because she didn't know the parents, but I got to stay until 12:30. We ate so much candy, and brownies, and cake, and ice cream, and pizza, and I could still go on. I had to wake up early to go to 10:30am piano, violin and music theory class. All three an hour each. After that I had to go straight to my best friend, Yasmin's, little brother's party to watch Harry Potter. She didn't want to go alone with 10 6th grade boys, so that's why I was invited along. I liked the 4th movie the best out of all of them, but I can clearly see why it was rated PG-13. *Lol* There is a scene with Harry in a bath tub and Myrtle interrupting him, and I stil can't believe they put thatin the movie. We ran into my new friend, Nicole, and her boyfriend, Alessandro, in the movie theatre, so we all sat together. It was fun. From there I had to go to my friend, Rocio's, surprise birthday party. I was in my party clothes the whole day because I didn't have time to change. That was alot of fun too. We got to dance and most of the time I was with my old friend Katrina that I haven't seen in a long while. On Sunday I woke up early to go to my cousin, AJ's, birthday. We went go-kart racing. We were there racing for about 2 hours. After that we went to Flannigan's to eat and celebrate. I had to go home, instead of eat cake afterwards, because I had to make campaign signs and do homework. Such a busy and exhausting weekend. My arms ache...

I didn't win President, but one of my really good friends, December, is in the run-off. She is against Carolina Sanchez, which is the Dean's daughter. I'm not upset, because if I hadn't won or if I hadn't of run, I would have voted for December. She said the same thing about me. There was no rivalry between us while we were running and I know she'll do a good job if she won because she's a hard worker and she's really intelligent. She wanted to get in for the same reasons as I did. Not for popularity, but to be in Student Council. The other girl, Carolina, is doing it for popularity. It's really obvious, and both her parents work at the school, and her borther's a Junior, so she has an attitude that she's a Freshman that owns the place. She isn't the brightest crayon in the box either, so I wish she doesn't win because I don't think she deserves it. My good friend, Jessica is also in the run-offs, but as Vice-President. She is also running against a girl that doesn't deserve it as much as she does. There were so many people running, that they had to cute all the categories into 2 people each so it's more final. Only the treasurer has 3 people because it was a 3-way tie. Hopefully it all turns out well.
