I had the strangest dream last night...

My dream started out normal, for me at least. I had been reading A Tale of Two Cities right before I went to sleep, so my dream was initially about the French Revolution. I was in some sort of battle; at first we were in a fortress, but then all the snow melted and we had to go down onto the field and I made some comment like, "I like battling from the fortress better." I was an archer. I have no idea which side of the war I was on. Honestly, I have no idea how I knew it was the French Revolution. It certainly wasn't like how I would picture the French Revolution to be, but that's besides the point.

In the next part, the war was over (it was still connected to the first part of the dream, however, because I acknowledged that a war had transpired). I'm not sure whether I won or not. I do know I was at school, although I only know this because I was sitting in a desk. Otherwise, it was very unschool-like. We were outside, and I think we might have been where we had been fighting. There was this boy that kept looking at me (I knew him from the war, although I don't recall which side he was on and what he did in the war). I kept thinking, in my dream, that he doesn't look quite like who he was supposed to be (I think he was supposed to be someone I actually know). Anyways, there was a desk between us. I sat on the right side of it and he sat on the left. I looked at him and he turned to look straight ahead. I leaned across the arm of my desk; I balanced myself so that I was on my knees turned sideways in my chair, and my elbows were on the desk between us.

"Were you just looking at me?" I asked him, quite bluntly, and a bit loudly.

He seemed a bit taken back, but he said, "Yes."

We both kind of smirked at each other and I went to sit back in my chair the right way, still smirking to myself. I don't remember what happened much after that. I think I was expecting him to say something more to me, but he hadn't, or maybe not. Like I said, don't remember much.

So, yes, that was my fascinating dream. It's been confusing me all morning. Now I'm even more confused because I picked "confused" as my mood and I have no Earthly idea what my little mood fox is doing. Trying to confuse me more, apparently.
