house? clean and sparkling ( well--not perfect, but certainly nicely shiny and reflecting Christmas lights and candles in interesting ways...) I love clean floors. I think I could clean floors everyday and be happy about it, if I had the time in the day..

Boys have had their shower and changed and cleaned their room nicely.
heading for the shower.... then it is fix dinner, re-arrange downstairs for the kids tonight, and prep trays and food ( cut veggies, cheese and crackers, little quiches, etc....)
time is approaching and I feel like things are finally under control. I am sure that in another 2 hours I will be feeling frenetic again... but this is the small pause. I am taking a moment to just breathe.
The romp this afternoon certainly helped -- a serious 15 minutes that left me temporarily brainless ( forgot how to put my pants back on) and a little stumbly-- but much, much calmer and happier. It is so nice to have a miracle worker who understands me so well sharing my life.
