I know it’s been a long time since I last wrote.
It’s been an incredible difficult month. I lost my mom on August 30th. to a Klebsiella infection. That’s a bacteria you get when you are in hospital. She wasn’t that sick when she got there, and then… she was just gone.
In the weeks that have followed I’ve changed jobs and lost friendships.
I feel completely devastated. I’m not trying to pretend my relationship with mom was perfect; you know it wasn’t. But still she was my mom and we loved each other in our own way.
I’m trying to figure out who am I. Many of the big decisions of my life were taken in function of my mom and making her proud of me. So now… now I don’t know where do I go from here.
