Supernatural - 112 - "Faith"
Finally got to see "Faith" tonight, my how I love 'Supernatural'!! Now, for my british and Australian friends, the show is coming to a channel near you soon! Channel 10 for Australia and ITV1 and ITV2 in the UK. Sit your ass down and start watching!
Anyways, on to the "Faith" review:
Short story; I loved it. Though both beluga and I felt they could have dragged it into a two part episode, leaving Dean sick for longer, and I dunno, cutting when he collapses on stage. We both have a love for episodes in shows where our fave character is hurt/sick or has amnesia.
Loved the eppy anyway though, had good quotes. Something we always look for in our fave shows. :)
Dean: You ever actually watch daytime TV? It's terrible.
Dean: That fabric softener teddy bear...ooh....I wanna hunt that little b**** down...
Dean: You gotta take care of that car, or I swear I'll haunt your ass
Dean: I'm gonna die, Sam... and, you can't stop it.
Sam: Watch me!
Dean: I'm not gonna die in a hospital where the nurses aren't even hot.
Dean: God save us from half the people who think they're doing God's work.
It's a good bridge from last weeks episode, which I also felt easily could have been a two-parter. Last week they were apart, now they have to get closer, brotherly love. Liked the bit in the church where Sam is basically pushing Dean inside, and up on the stage, so worried. Creds go to Jared Padalecki for those worried scenes, very good call to daddy as well. Jensen Ackles' scenes where he's sick, and the ones where he is in pain, creds go out to him there too. If there's one thing we've notice is that the guy has like a million facial expressions, and he's not afraid to use them. Unlike most of the Hollywood people. When it comes to people in pain in movies, I rarely buy it, but I buy it from these guys, so far so good. But back to the episode itself, I think It'll be in my top three list so far. Now I have to admit I'll enjoy most things that are sticking it to religion, but it wasn't a major player this time around, and besides, by the end they make up for it.
Okay... There are probably a million other things I could write about this episode, but I'll stop here.
