Hugh Jackman is going to have a role in a
Untitled Woody Allen Fall Project 2006 , and guess where they're shooting?
London, England, UK!!! Hopefully they'll still be there in a month when I'm going over for the autum semester. AH! Or at least, hopefully
Hugh Jackman will still be there. Just have to find out where they're shooting!
I don't like
Woody Allen very much, but it's
Hugh Jackman, so I'm going to have to check out the movie when it's released.
POSSIBLE SPOILER (from imdb.com)
Rachel Weisz is on the cover of the September "Interview" magazine, and she was interviewed by Hugh Jackman (they have the movie "The Fountain" premiering at the end of the year). Rachel asked Hugh about Woody Allen - SPOILER:
HJ: Hello, darling!
RW: Huuugh! How's it going with Woody Allen?
HJ: Oh I'm absolutely loving it - he's just hysterical, and it's a very funny script. And I'm home by 4:30 every afternoon.
RW: You're playing an English aristocrat, right?
HJ: Yeah, I'm playing an English aristocrat, devilishly handsome and incredibly charming and possibly a serial killer. But hang on, I'm doing the interviewing here.
Not sure if the "serial killer" part was a joke since I think he probably said "devilishly handsome and incredibly charming" tongue in cheek, but there it is.
He's working those reporter skills after all...
Hugh didn't get that degree in journalism for nothing! - as evidenced by the September issue of Interview magazine (out now), he's got an excellent interviewing manner. HJ sits down with Fountain co-star Rachel Weisz for
the cover feature, and it's a great read. (There are also some new kibbles of info, so consider that your spoiler warning, folks!)
Heads up for your local comics shop!
A reminder that Hugh as Wolverine is on the cover of the latest Wizard magazine; the issue includes an interview with Marvel's Avi Arad and X3/Wolverine spin-off coverage. Also, might be a good time to reserve your copy of The Fountain graphic novel from DC; a JL contributor tells us their local comics dealer has been told that distributors are selling out of the volume before it has even hit the shelves!
