i got my mystery men movie today. and i am currently watching it. its so funny.
went to a speed show yesterday. i took jeremys horse which is quickly becomming my horse... my mom and i went to ionia state park for a trail ride sat morning as well.
but anyways. this is the first time ive ridden her that fast, and the first time ive ridden any speed events... so the first class is pole bending, her specialty. she rocked in it. i barely knew the pattern i was running and it goes by so fast, but she ran right through it...probably could have done it by herself. but on the way back, after we pass the timer laser thing, i try to stop her. I guess i didn't realize i had a whole arena to slow her down, so i just pull and sit back and she brakes, and i don't, and off i go.
she stopped and i kept going, fell on my back with an "uh", lay there for a sec, got up and walked out. she just stood by me. she wasn't prancing or trying to escape or anything. i was very proud of her.
but as for me, im stupid. it was pretty embarrasing. However, i did get a second place in that event.
we did really well in the rest of the events with two more sixth places. hopefully, either this week or next i can try some cutting or team penning with her.
