Complements and Insults
tonight, we were threatening jordan that since he wasn't in paint clothes, we would make them paint clothes. he asked us to at least use the orange paint, that way he could be his favorite color, green (remember, he is totally color blind and sees everything as its complement). which then reminded me of a question that i'd been meaning to ask him:
"What color is brown?"
"Brown is brown."
"Really? You can see one color!" (other than black and white)
"Yeah, I'm not color blind anymore! But most things are not true brown; there's blue-brown and red-brown." (points down at chapel chairs) "That's brown."
"I hope you're pointing at the armrest, because the chair is definitely not brown."
"No, it's ugly.
"What color is brown?"
"Brown is brown."
