strange phone call
my dorm phone rings at 2.10 am.
i answer it (being at my computer, with the phone right next to me).
me: hello?
her: hi.
me: hi.
her: hi.
me: uhm. who is this?
her: your mother. *pause* you just called me.
me: uhm. you don't sound like my mother. may i ask whom you are calling?
her: ashley.
me: i'm not ashley.
her: oh..*mumble mumble something about a cellphone mumble*.. *click*
me: *bewildered silence..put phone back in cradle, go back to computer*
fin.
