Cat Attack
► Last night I actually got a good 7 hours of sleep as I'm finally crawling out of my recent insomnia rut. Though it did some good, it was offset by my waking up at 2:30am which meant I was dragging my ass when Dad picked me up midday to run errands. The outing, which was supposed to simply be to go to the comic book shop, Walmart and then my grandmother's place was turned into a crisscrossing tour of the city.
Despite all the running around I didn't buy any extraneous stuff such as DVDs. Given how much I have invested into my friend John finding stuff for me at the Wizard World Ohio comic con this weekend, I didn't think I needed to really splurge.
► Earlier this evening I was looking for something in my overstuffed closet when Stormy slipped underfoot and wedged himself in behind the sliding door. When I bent down to scoop him out he suddenly jumped up and punched me in my left eye. It was most unexpected. I'm just glad the little bugger had his claws sheathed.
► 9gag: Found this at a fair booth. - Now that's a threat.
► 9gag: There is no lock - Maybe I should put this on the outside of my bedroom door. Might help cut down on my sister's habit of knocking while entering. How is a man supposed to relax in his own room and enjoy his porn?

► Kickstarter: World's Best Father 2013 Calendar by Dave Engledow - I think this is hysterical.
► Yahoo News: Nazi-Acquired Buddha Statue Came From Space - Sometimes life just sounds like a comic book.
► TVOvermind: NBC Making a Show Where Thomas Edison Fights Crime - Wouldn't a more appropriate show be about Tesla as a heroic inventor with Edison as an evil criminal mastermind?
And since when did Sherlock Holmes not use a pistol?
► CBR: Super Powered Teens Fight for Survival in Hopeless' "Avengers Arena" - I guess someone at Marvel Comics saw The Hunger Games recently. Marvel never fails to latch onto any and all fads in the media and try to jump onto the bandwagon, whether or not it makes sense or even works. I'm expecting a comic delving into mutant S&M relationships soon.
