► Updating my LiveJournal is increasingly becoming a pain in the ass as the constant crash cycling of Firefox makes it hard to work on entries. It's frustrating when you keep having to interrupt yourself while writing so that you can save and back up what you've written least a crash wipe everything out. The problem is that having to do that constantly breaks up your train of thought and your word flow. Often times I'll also forget to take the constant breaks and have frequently lost whole sections of my entries, which naturally turns into a struggle to recreate them.
My relationship with this computer really has soured over the past year. Sadly, I'll just have to make do with it for the foreseeable future.
► I'm getting increasingly anxious and jittery worrying about going out on Friday. Not only will it be my first outing in 2 weeks, but it will also be my first post-flu outing which worries me since I'll be paranoid about taking ill while out. Additionally, I have to go to twice as many places as I usually do on my end of the month outings. I am feeling a bit stressed.

Superhero Hype: Joss Whedon's S.H.I.E.L.D. Comes to ABC - When I saw the URL I was momentarily confused and excited at the idea of a TV show about
MLJ/Archie Comics's superhero
Shield. Whoops.
If
How I Met Your Mother finally ends before the
S.H.I.E.L.D. series start, maybe
Cobie Smulders can star in it as
Maria Hill. I'd watch that, unlike HIMYM which I find overwhelmingly unfunny.

CBR Spinoff Online: Avengers Deleted Scene Shows Alternate Captain America Intro - Man I love
Captain America. It's a shame this scene won't be in
the movie or on the regular DVD. It makes me wish I actually had a Bluray.

Care2: Deaf Child’s Sign For His Name Violates Gun Policy, Says School District - And therein lies the problem with
zero tolerance policies. They ignore and straitjacket reason and commonsense. This case is simply idiotic and reeks of ignorance and the abuse of a disabled child's rights.

TPM: RNC Attendee Allegedly Threw Nuts At Black CNN Camerawoman, Said ‘This Is How We Feed Animals’ - Charming. You stay classy,
Republican Party.
Am I the only one who's noticed a subtext among Republicans of late that this election is about whites taking America back from an
uppity black man? Rich whites at that. This election just makes me feel icky all over.

MTV Geek: Is Rob Liefeld The Charlie Sheen Of Comic Books? - As outrageous as
Rob Liefeld has sounded this past week, he still seems to have some semblance of control given he's not fueled by cocaine and prostitutes like
Charlie Sheen was/is. I don't think Sheen would post an update on Twitter from a fishing trip. Not unless it was about fishing drugs out of a pornstar's ass-crack.
And I just glanced at the
Wikipedia profile photo of Charlie Sheen when filling in the links. My god he really looks like a goblin now. Drugs are bad, people.
