Back At You
► Waking up this morn was excruciating, as I found my upper back and neck seizing up in pain. More than likely I must have slept with my neck craned at an awkward angle, and the cold and damp weather must be aggravating it. I've tried some muscle and joint rub but so far it hasn't helped alleviate any of the pain or tension. I'm hoping it eases up by tomorrow morning as I have a lot of running around to do.
Back pain sucks.

► Kickstarter: LEAVING MEGALOPOLIS by Gail Simone/Jim Calafiore - I am very much intrigued by this and I'm thinking of funding $20 in a couple of weeks. I'd like to go for the $150 funding option and get a 9" x 12" drawing, but I'm a bit over extended with all the money I'm sending my friend John for the September comic book conventions. It just means I'll have to settle for the $20 graphic novel. Nothing wrong with that.

► Ain't It Cool News: Ben Affleck For JUSTICE LEAGUE? - Supposedly they've approached Affleck to primarily direct the movie, and possibly star in it. What a difference a few years make.
► NY Daily News: Famed Roswell UFO crash involved 2 alien spacecraft, not one, as long believed: retired Air Force officer - And of course it's all second hand stuff he heard. Shocking. I like that they quote a second high ranking officer who doesn't dispute the presence of alien UFOs, but that the military at the time had the capability to shoot one down. Wonky.
My question is if there actually was a UFO crash in 1947 New Mexico, why does it have to be aliens? UFO simply means a flying object or video that isn't immediately identifiable. It does not automatically mean "ZOMG! ALIENS!" Isn't it possible that the craft, if there was one, that crashed was an experimental American or Russian craft?
