Hot Stuff
► How can the apartment go from cool with a strong cold breeze coming in through the windows at 1:00pm, to stiflingly hot and humid 4 hours later? It's a conundrum. I slept through those 4 hours so for all I know there was a rogue band of potters working a makeshift kiln in our living room while I was unconscious. It could happen.
Since I woke up I've had incredible stiffness in my neck and my right arm is sore and aching. I wonder if it's from the weather abruptly switching for cool and dry to hot and humid in one afternoon...
► I'm a little confused, and I don't think I'm alone. Earlier today I was checking my bank account and I saw a strange charge on my credit card. At the beginning of the month I placed two orders on the adult store website Adam & Eve, and they were charged when they shipped over a week and a half ago. As of 2 days ago there's a third charge for $12.20.
I sent them an email and I received a reply saying that it was a S&H charge that went through accidentally for a canceled order and that they would be reimbursing me for the $12.20. Aside from not knowing what the heck the canceled order was, problem solved. Or so I thought. A few hours later I received another email from Adam & Eve informing me that they had received my returned item and would be reimbursing me for the item, but unfortunately they would not be able to reimburse me for the S&H. They'll be sending $12.20 to my credit card. So now I'm really confused.
While I briefly considered replying to the second email for clarification that I hadn't returned anything, I decided that it would just confuse the issue more than it already is, and it doesn't matter if I'm getting the money back anyway. I figure it's just a case of two departments not fully knowing what's going on with the other, that I send my initial email to customer service, they said they'd refund for the error and sent it for approval and the other department misunderstood and thought it was regarding a returned item. That's just a guess though.KimW: Doesn't really matter if they send your money back, if not let me know and I will advise you how to make them suffer.

For the record, I've purchased stuff from Adam & Eve in the past and have never had a problem, and yes, it's porn.
