We're Having A Heat Wave, A Tropical Heat Wave...
► Woo momma! It's been really hot and humid today, and apparently it's going to be much, much worse tomorrow. I think it's supposed to be some massive heat wave coming up from the south. Fun times.
My back and abdominal pains continue to come and go. They're still nowhere near as bad as they were last week, so that's good. Still, the pains, my nerves, and worries about the heat have me really apprehensive about going out tomorrow. I just really don't want to leave the apartment, but I have to. I think the heat, humidity and my nerves are already getting to me because I've had awful stomach cramps since I ate a Hungryman turkey dinner early this afternoon. Usually they don't bother me, but today my stomach is reacting as if I ate onions, which always make me feel ill. Maybe some got into the gravy and stuffing at the processing plant where they make the meals.
It also now seems that I'll have to go out on Saturday. My brother just called and asked me to house sit Saturday night. I guess they're going to his in-laws' for a party, taking the puppy Charlie, and spending the night. Sounds like they just need someone to keep an eye on Bruce. I said I'd do it, but I'm just in a really antsy mood this week and would rather just stay barricaded in my room.
