► Yep, another day without going out. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to get to Walmart. I'm almost out of my calcium supplements (which I was prescribed last October) and need fresh bread and groceries on top of other necessities.
It's just harder trying to sync my nerves with Dean's moods. At least there's only four and a half weeks to go until Dad gets back from his golf trip. Oh, and the landlord dropped off our 2010 rent receipts for income tax, so that's one less thing to worry about.
► After waiting 5 weeks, Amazon finally sent me notice that they're having trouble getting copies of
Ms. Marvel Volume 1 and
Ms. Marvel Volume 3 to fulfill my order. As such, they split the 2 books and added an additional one to two month wait for the first volume, and now list the third without any shipping estimate at all. That's because it's no longer available through them, although they're apparently still "searching". Frustrated, I finally gave up and canceled the books and reordered them individually through two different seller stores. They're already listed as "shipping soon".
I'm actually getting the books for $2-3 cheaper than I would have from Amazon.ca. That said, with Amazon it's a one day wait once the books ship, and it's a crapshoot as to how long it'll take to get them from the sellers via regular mail. Especially since on is shipping from a warehouse in the UK.
